Social Monitoring Aachen
A social monitoring was conducted on behalf of the county of Aachen („StädteRegion Aachen“). First, in close coordination with local authorities new social environment areas were defined. It was followed by a comprehensive analysis of social and economic data. More than 30 variables were developed in a process of several workshops with local municipalities and the county. The main objective is to identify social and economic differences and disparities within and between local communities.
