Retail Research
In this mandatory elective component, students gain a special look into the research areas of geographic commerce research. In addition to a seminar with an on site internship, students attend the GIS course in location planning.

- Basics of geomarketing and market research
- Regression models
- Gravitation models

The module Geographical Trade Research consists of three parts: in the winter semester the seminar as well as the field practical course are offered, in the summer semester follows the exercise "GIS in the location planning". The module is offered only every two years. So if you want to attend this during your master's degree, you have to do that in the appropriate semester.
This course is only offered every second winter semester.
